All games are played according to FIVB rules. A set is won by the team which first scores 25 points with a minimum lead of two points. In the case of a 24-24 tie, play is continued until a two-point lead is achieved (26-24; 27-25; …). All matches are played as a best of 3 - to win the match, a team has to win 2 sets. In the case of a 1-1 tie, the deciding set (the 3rd) is played to 15 points with a minimum lead of 2 points. Starting times are announced as warm-up start, match begin is 15 min after. Warm-up sessions are headed by the appointed referees. If a team is late, a 15 min grace period is granted. If a team arrives during this time, the remainder of this period can be used for warm-up. After that, at the end of every 15 min increment the set is considered lost 0-25. Exceptions are possible if acceptable to opponents and if hall time is available National League (NL) players can be recruited to play District League. Each team can recruit a maximum of 2 NL players. For Mixed-DL, at least 3 ladies have to be on court at all times. Exceptions are possible if acceptable to opponents. |
